In cooperation with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and as required by TCEQ, West Bell County WSC is completing an inventory of the system's and members' water service lines. This is an important step in protecting public health and minimizing the risk of lead entering your drinking water from service pipes and plumbing fixtures in your home.
Although West Bell County WSC's service lines are lead-free and our water is rigorously tested, it is important to identify and replace any lead in home service lines and plumbing.
To help us in this initiative, we will be sending notices to customers in which their service lines are of unknown material.
